The program's primary objective is to provide a fun, positive environment to learn, play and compete.
Dragon youth academy teams are coached by our own U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) licensed staff and function as a Lisle FC team without the “travel” aspect.

Games
Dragon academy teams mostly play 5v5 formatted games which includes 4 field players and 1 goalkeeper. Players are rotated to all field positions and playing time is nearly equal with a few exceptions.
The primary objectives for these games are;
- Field and ball awareness
- Spacing and shape
- Aggressive, involved play
- Employment of individual skills
- Basic team play
- Fun, fun, fun!
Games are mostly played Saturdays.
Practices
Dragon academy teams are hosted to two 1:15 hour practices per week through the fall and spring soccer seasons.
Practices are fun, age appropriate and focused on individual skills development and basic team play.
Games and practices are hosted at beautiful Lisle Community Park with convenient access from all neighboring suburbs including Downers Grove, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Wheaton and Woodridge.
