Classic Soccer League is run by Lisle FC a Lisle Park District affiliate

League Info

If you are looking for more competition without the time and financial commitment of a travel soccer program, consider joining the Classic Soccer League.

The Classic Soccer League is a step up from traditional park district leagues and it’s geared toward players and families who want a bit more structure and competition.  However, while it is a competitive league, the league's primary objective is to create a fun, safe, competitive environment for young players.

Who can register?

  • Players in Kindergarten through 8th Grade
  • Beginners through More Advanced
  • Individual Players
  • Schoolmates and Friends may be Grouped to Form School-Specific or Neighborhood-Specific Teams.
    • Groups that register "as a team" need to identify a head coach and or coaching team
    • Maximum and minimum roster sizes apply

A player is encouraged to remain on a team from the fall season through the spring season.  This allows the league-issued, team-specific uniform to be carried over from the fall to the spring season.  If a player is able to reuse his/her uniform from the fall for the spring season, a discounted spring registration fee applies.

Teams may remain together from year to year too!

Games are mostly played Saturdays and hosted at Lisle Community Park which is conveniently accessible from anywhere in Lisle, Downers Grove, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Wheaton and Woodridge.  There are situations were games are played outside of Lisle or after hours on weekdays.

Teams will be placed in brackets within their own age-group or age-group range.  Each age-group will play by rules and by game formats specific to their age-group.  (I.e. a kindergartner will play by less complex rules and with fewer players on a smaller field than an 8th grader)

The 7-9 week season concludes with a playoff and championship format at each division.

Classic Soccer League teams are hosted to at least one practice per week throughout each season.

These sessions are led by parent/sibling volunteers and the exact weekday and start time of the practices is dependent on their availability as a coaching team.

Typical duration of a practice session;

  • Kindergarten through 2nd Grade – 1:00 Hour
  • 3rd through 6th Grade - 1:00 to 1:30 Hours
  • 7th and 8th Grades - 1:30 to 2:00 Hours
