CLASSIC SOCCER LEAGUE

The Classic Soccer League is operated by Lisle Football Club, a Lisle Park District affiliate

League Info

Spring Season: April 1st through June 15th

The Classic Soccer League is a step up from traditional park district leagues and it's geared toward players who want a bit more structure and competition. However, while it is a competitive league, the league's primary objective is to provide a fun, safe, competitive environment for young players to learn.

Who can register?

Players in Preschool through 8th Grade

Beginners through Advanced

Individual Players

Whole Teams

  • Schoolmates and friends may be grouped to form school-specific or neighborhood-specific teams.
  • Groups that register "as a team" need to identify a head coach and or coaching team
  • Maximum and minimum roster sizes apply
  • Teams may remain together from year to year too!

Players are encouraged to remain on the same team for both the fall and spring seasons. This promotes player cohesiveness and team continuity.

  • Players who use their league issued, team-specific uniform for the entire year will benefit from a reduced fee.

Games

Most games are played Saturdays at beautiful Lisle Community Park with convenient access from all neighboring suburbs including Downers Grove, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Wheaton and Woodridge.

Some games may be played outside of Lisle or after hours on weekdays.

Teams will generally be placed in brackets in their own age group or age group range.

Game formats and rules are age-groups specific. For example, a kindergartner will play by less complex rules and with fewer players on a smaller field than an 6th grader.

The 7-9 week season concludes with a playoff and championship format at each division.
